A kid stepped on a nail on the way to the bus in 2002. He was the brother of the girl I had a crush on in my neighborhood. 2002 is when I started loving public transportation. It was a morning adventure everyday going to the bus stop with my kindergartner brother. i started riding the bus when I become a big brother (in school), so there was a bit of responsibility. We getting to the bus and nobody playing with Reem. Everyday at the end of our adventure, I waited for the bus with “the girl I had a crush on.” You know that feeling? The feeling you never thought you’d experience when younger but as you age, people lose their faces and names. Everyone’s a roleplayer on everyone else‘s server.
STOP REQUESTED!
NEXT STOP: THE BACK OF THE BUS
So I’m back in the Bus (Columbus, OH) living downtown and working at THE. One of the benefits of having a BuckID is that it’s a bus pass. So I’m on the back of the bus on days the weather stops my cycling. Because I’ve been exploring N. High Street alone since 2007, I get to time travel as I head to work. There’s me at 12, getting off the bus to go to Barnes and Noble because no one would take me. Since then I've utilized public transportation because ain't the world wonderful? I don't want to personally pollute the world & our local government provides me with a sound alternative!
